Pastor James and Julie Archambeault have been at New Life Tabernacle since September of 1991. They arrived with two young children, Michael, 7 and Autumn, 4. in the first service there were 9 in attendance. They immediately started reaching out to the community, knocking on doors, singing at public events, and getting the congregation involved in city events.
Throughout the years, God has blessed their ministry, and they are currently pastoring over 175 people! Their son, Michael, a 2008 graduate of Indiana Bible College, BA in Music, is currently serving as Minister of Music. Their daughter, Autumn, who is married to Travis Crupe reside in Kendallville and all have been very involved in the church.
Before coming to New Life, Pastor Archambeault was on the evangelistic field for a year and a half. Pastor Archambeault was the Assistant Pastor and Principal of a christian school in Clinton, IN and also the Assistant Pastor/Youth Minister in Bourbon, IN. Before moving to Kendallville, Pastor and Sis. Archambeault pastored a small church in Dunkirk, IN for 2 years.
Pastor Archambeault graduated from Indiana Bible College in 1984, with a BA in Theology. He founded the Kendallville campus for Purpose Institute, a bible college dedicated to the training of ministers and preparing their lives for the ministry. He is also the Chaplain for the Kendallville Police Department, where he also works part time as a police dispatcher.
Sis. Archambeault has supported her husband through the years, working to help pay for his college, and dedicating her life to his ministry. While in Clinton, IN she began the Christian Pre-school for ages 3-5. She is currently working toward her BA in Christian Counseling, as well as writing a book for Minister’s wives. She is also the Promotions Director for the Indiana District Ladies Ministries. She serves on the the Noble County Domestic Task force while also working with her husband through the Kendallville Police Department, counseling single mothers and families in need. She works part-time as a consultant for BeautiContol. (Who needs make up, let me show you how to have the best skin possible!)
Pastor and Sis. Archambeault live in Kendallville with Hercules & Princess, their 4 lb. Yorkies.
Reverend Ginger Zimmerman was first a part of New Life Tabernacle from 1997-1999 and recently moved back to Kendallville to work with Pastor & Sister Archambeault in January 2009. Sis. Zimmerman was raised in rural Western Maryland, in the home of an Apostolic preacher, and felt God calling her to ministry at the age of 12. She received the Holy Ghost on the 18th of June 1981, and was baptized in Jesus’ name on 21 June 1981. Upon graduating from high school, Sis. Zimmerman attended Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis from 1991-1995, graduating with high honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible/Theology.
Throughout the course of her ministry, Sis. Zimmerman has been a youth leader, evangelist, and worked in the bus ministry, outreach, teaching Home Bible Studies and sound/multimedia ministry. Currently, Sis. Zimmerman heads the Promotion Department of New Life Tabernacle and oversees the sound team.
Sis. Zimmerman resides in Kendallville with her Cockapoo, Bear.
